All You Need to Know

I.M.C.F Review
A film made by a Hollywood studio, is not certain to be promising. - This is what we will realize, once we get into the tale of 'Bang Bang'! Yes, this film has super cool songs, hot and happening Hrithik and Katrina in lead roles, awesome locations and exciting stunts! But something which is important to gel of these together is missing. i.e, the story! This film is just an old fashioned revenge drama, which you might find senseless too!

The movie starts with Omar Zafar (Danny Denzongpa) killing a responsible and duty minded Indian police officer to escape from prison. On escape, he desires to steal 'The Kohinoor' diamond itself! Meanwhile, Rajveer (Hrithik) gets his hands on 'The Kohinoor' somehow, which he would want to sell to Omar in person. In his pursuit to Omar, he gets to meet Harleen (Katrina) by chance.

Upon their meeting, Harleen gets dragged into the roller-coaster life of Rajveer, with Police and Omar's people trying to hunt them down. After many stunts, (which are exciting - because Hrithik did them, and senseless - because no bullet reaches Hrithik) Rajveer meets Omar. What happens next, is the story of Bang Bang!!

Reasons to watch:
1. For the, Hot and Happening Hrithik and Katrina and their Romance!
2. Super cool songs and locations.
3. Thrilling stunts.

Reasons to skip:
1. The one thing that can keep any film running - Story - Is missing!
2. Exciting, yet senseless stunts where no bullet reaches Hrithik. Even when it does, it doesnt do any damage!
3. Not an exciting screenplay! Sure to bore you after a while.

I.M.C.F Rating : 79/100 (???)
Direction : 8 : Despite the story being so weak, Director tried his best to make us fall in love with the film!

All You Need To Know:

I.M.C.F Review
Haider, a film inspired from William Shakespeare's Hamlet (which is set in the Kingdom of Denmark, and revolves around the revenge of Prince Hamlet). But in here, the story got altered to Kashmir conflicts between India and Pakistan, and the the revenge is sought my Haider.

This is a film about Haider (Shahid), a normal soul who sets out to avenge his father's murder in the hands of Indian army, for treating a militant. On his journey to know the truth about his father, Haider realises that his uncle Khurram (Kay kay menon) was the one responsible for his father's disapperence and death.

Along with this, his mother (Tabu) marries Khurram. This shakes him to the core. The relationship between Haider and his mother has been handled in a very peculiar way! This leads Haider in to a path of vengence and on his way to his destination, loses the one soul who has loved him more than anything - Arshia (Shradha Kapoor). After her death, Haider becomes totally unstable. In this fight for vengence and justice... story takes many turns and finally leads to a path of freedom!

This is not a film, we will get to see every once in a while. A very brave attempt by the whole crew, with a screenplay and story as such. Shahid did extremely well as Haider. Tabu played an equally important role and she justified it too. This is a film, which will run solely on its plot!

Reasons to watch:
1. To witness a William Shakespeare's dark drama!
2. Gripping tale and its performances. Especially Tabu's, whose role is torn between her idealistic husband, opportunistic brother-in-law and her innocent and passionate son.

Reasons to skip:
1. This is a strict drama and there is not a single percent of commercial entertainment. So, if you are looking for something like that, then you will be disappointed.

I.M.C.F Rating : 83/100 (???)
Direction : 9 : Couldnt find any thing wrong. Wow!
Production Values : 8 : Suited the darkness of the film.
Story/Plot : 9 : A normal revenge drama, but what is exciting is the way it is sought.
Cast Performances : 10 : Shahid and Tabu lived, but not acted. Others did well.
Music : 7 : Music is not very exciting, but two songs are good. BGM is very lively.
Cinematography : 7 : Well made.
Screenplay/Editing : 9 : Along with Direction, Screenplay is something which gave life to this Drama.
Choreography/Action : 7 : Choreography is in Kashmiri style! Stunts were not totally cool.
Dialogues : 9 : Most are good, but sometimes, we wouldnt understand what is being spoken. Such native hindi one's are written.
Awe Moment(s) : 8 : Shahid and Tabu's relation; Shahid's performance; Climax.

All You Need to Know

I.M.C.F Review
Firstly we should appreciate Farah Khan for making a film with less story and more stars!
Well the film goes as predictable as it is in Trailer. But the entertainment levels will keep you tied. The way this film is presented is too good. We should say, Farah Khan succeeded in selling a fake stone at the cost of a Diamond!
Music, Cinematography, Dances, Entertainment and Production values are too good and makes the film enjoyable.
On the flip side, Story is weak and the film is a bit lengthy. But Actors and Director have saved it from sinking.
In all... this film might just break a few records for SRK  And... dont forget to get a glance at the introduction of 'Abram Khan' at the end
Reasons to watch:
1. Entertainment.
2. Production values and Cinematography.
3.  Actors performances.

Reasons to skip:
1. Poor story, Kiddish entertainment and the length of the movie.

I.M.C.F Rating : 81/100
Direction : 8
Production Values : 9
Story/Plot : 6 : A simple revenge drama!
Cast Performances : 9 : Actors got to deal with emotions, humor, action and dances an everyone did well!
Music : 8
Cinematography : 9
Screenplay/Editing : 8
Choreography/Action : 8
Dialogues : 8
Awe Moment(s) : 8 : Pre climax and climax, where you expect twists but there are none~
