I.M.C.F Review

Coming as a remake to a successful film from 2012, this film does well in terms of matching its original version. The basic plot of the story is something like, a pizza delivery boy who gets stuck in a haunted house when he goes there to deliver a pizza is left only with a torch and a disconnected telephone. What all happen to him inside the house; how will he escape that horrific house and will he be able to have a stable life, post that traumatic incident, forms the basic story line.

Unlike the original version, the lead couple are happily married in this film. While Parvathy Omnakuttan is an improvement, Akshay Oberoi seems to be a major setback when compared to lead actors from earier version. Other than that, 3D effects have been fine and the horror moments have been common and predictable. This film's strength has always been the climax which is highly unpredictable. But it might thrill you or anger you big time, as all that you have seen in the film till then might turn the tables!

Direction : 7 : Starts on a slow pace but gets better.

Story/Plot : 7 : A predictable horror story with an unpredictable climax!

Cast Performances : 8 : Akshay Oberoi is the only one to be seen for most of the time. He did well, along with Parvathy Omnakuttan. Others did just fine.

Music : 8 : Both the Music and BGM have come out very well. Well suited!

Cinematography : 8

Editing/Screenplay : 7 : Screenplay is exciting up to an extent and in most parts. But lags in some areas!

3D effects : 8 : Have come out very well. For a horror film like this, they might be a major plus point!

Dialogues : 7

Awe Moment(s) : 9 : Like it or not, its definitely the climax!!
